because all your paying for is the name basically.. but there only expensive cause they dont produce guitars on a massive scale like say fender does. for every thousand guitars fender makes prs make 2 lol
Mira
its expensive because it goes through alot of processes and then they sell the guitars to a retailer which needs to make a profit which increases prices + Tax and all that rubbish
why did not Paul do this
What model does Ben Kasica use?
i fuckn want one….
I can concour partially here. As I can see, 95% of this guitar is built by machine. Not by hand. so why in the world is it so expensive? Gibson’s guitar making is a little more hands on. And way cheaper too. And Fender is definately more hands on. I’m not knocking its quality but I have not been wowed from playing one to make me pay thousands for one. Not like I have with Fender and Gibson, both of which are a little more cost realistic.
He’s my best friend <3
i would think so since this video is from guitar world! ha
i think i just saw paul at the back then from guitar world
thats the kind of job that I’ll never get bored if I do my whole life
@GLeNss yeah jack is a very nice guy. at festivals ive hung out with him and his wife and kids they are all very good people.
the preident of prs guitars is a really nice guy.
My next guitar will be a prs!
@Thirdgen83 Bullshit. I KNOW what thre hell I am talking about. How about explaining to me why a guitar so expensive is not offered with a ebony fingerboard. How about the shitty heel-joint of the PRS? …
@thirdgen83 So, that leaves an amazing amout of about 300 Guitars (actually, less than that). Have you EVER been close to, i.e, a Mccarty? The construction quality of that Guitar it`s amazing, and you won`t find another guitar nowdays with that construction quality…Learn about the quality of PRS Guitars, and then you would be able to say “hardly worth the price”…cheap talk, that`s all you have dude ;=)
@0hypnotoad0 Yeah, what do they know about Guitars…You should go and tell them that, otherwise they`ll keep making those ugly/terrible sound, cheap Guitars…Dude, thanx god you can`t go to jail for stupid comments; you`d get a life time sentence….
Great guitars, I’ve got a Custom 24 and DGT and they both have amazing playability and build quality.
Recommended.
.54 i really thought he said drawing wood! i had a PRS custom 24 , was amazing, then i snapped the head off it and felt like a douche !
At 5:25, Is that Paul in the back?
i want one of these so basd but thanks to the economy i cant find a job to pay for one
The best PRS guitars were made BEFORE 1994. You cannot get an ebony fretboard from PRS nowadays, AND their heel-joint is uncomfortable and antiquated. Today’s PRS guitarss are decent, but hardly worth the price…
Interesting, the green stuff on the fret boards must be tape , for the painting process. I was LIKE , WHOA ! Electric Green fretboard YUCK!
But it does not look like that at the end thank goodness. Nice tout.
its Paul that does the demos at 5:08 in the background lol, man i dont live to far from that factory, i would love to work there
My god what a terribly inefficient way of cutting fretboards.
They should get wide slabs of rosewood, cut fret lines across the entire length of it, then cut up the piece into multiple fretboards.
@andy010893 haha your hillarious. Most people cant see that your trying to be a idiot. lol
